Our Story
Paul Taylor has over 50 years experience in the jewellery industry
From school to a apprenticeship in 1965 Paul commenced training in jewellery manufacturing and repairs with a local Jeweller in Papatoetoe.
Paul moved employment into the Auckland CBD and continued to be employed as a bench Jeweller.
Learning more skills and also worked extra time in retail which was most beneficial in years to come given many changes in manufacturing and the demise of many wholesalers.
Early in 1971 Paul returned to his former employer and started a new business with Paul taking over in 1975 on the retirement of his employer. The business relocated to the Highland Park Shopping Centre in 1997. The business settled and continued for 22 years serving the East auckland area and many trade clients from all over NZ, Australia, USA & the Pacific.
A welcomed challenge
Highland Park shopping Centre was sold in 2018, and tenants were notified of proposed demolition. Paul and his team made the move to Beachlands opening in April 2019.
Paul felt the move would be another adventure. His team welcomed the challenge equipped with a new showroom, workshop for all to view and a strong following from numerous clients.
