Paul has over 55 years experience in the jewellery industry, 2021 will mark 50 years in business serving clientele countrywide.
Paul’s dedication to the industry has seen many long term employees over the years. Paul spends most of his days liaising with clients and the day to day managing of the business in the new workshop, showroom in Beachlands.
Born and raised in Pakuranga, Martin has been making jewellery from a young age. From what began as a hobby - turned career - now obsession, Martin continues to take pride in his craft.
Martin started with Paul in 2001. From that time he has not only designed and made a vast number of trinkets to future heirloom. He has also remodelled, repaired and restored those precious items for special occasions and loved ones, to be passed on to generations to come.
He gets huge satisfaction in being part of something that leaves a fingerprint of his skills that will surpass his own mortality.
Known to many as JP, graduated Cum Laude with a Jewellery Design and Manufacture Diploma in South Africa before bringing his talents to New Zealand over 2 years ago.
Whilst studying JP was a finalist in the top 10 of a large nation wide AngloGold Jewellery Design and Manufacture competition. After university he did a 2 year internship to enhance his skills further. Working and creating jewellery for many different people of different cultures, gave him the opportunity to do really unique bespoke pieces.
Now at Paul Taylor Jewellers, JP has further expanded his skills on new equipment and specialises in repairing and manufacturing jewellery. His passion for the beauty and design of jewellery continues to grow.
Marnic's journey as a Jewellery Designer and Manufacturer began in 2009. She received her Jewellery Design and Manufacture Diploma in 2012. Thereafter she received her trade qualification from the Jewellery Council of South Africa.
Marnic came to New Zealand and joined Paul Taylor Jewellers early in 2019. She enjoys designing and manufacturing very unique pieces for new clients.
Passionate about her career, Marnic relishes the opportunity to grow. She takes pride in what she does and continues to strive for excellence in her work.
Started working for Paul after studying at MIT, Jay graduated as a jewellery manufacturer in 2012 and started working Paul in 2013. Specialising in jewellery repairs and laser welding.
Pursuing her dreams of becoming a qualified Gemologist, Jay started a
degree with FGA in 2017 to obtain the gemstone identification qualification in January 2020 and continues to progress towards her goal.
She is passionate about all things jewellery and is willing to share her knowledge with our customers.
